November 1, 2016 - Mon Cheri Med Spa, located at 28 Oleander Street in Cocoa, is a comprehensive medical spa that offers cutting edge skincare treatments, but has an intimate boutique atmosphere. Owner Sonia Negron, a former nurse and certified anesthesiologist, opened Mon Cheri two and a half years ago in downtown Cocoa Village.
A Miami native, an employment opportunity at Cape Canaveral Hospital brought Negron to the Space Coast. While working at the hospital, she decided to start her own business and chose Cocoa Village for its location. Mon Cheri Med Spa has three employees and is managed by a Licensed Full-Specialist, Morgan West.
“I wanted somebody who knew the business from the get-go with no training involved,” says Negron about West. “She is very strong and has a lot of experience.”
Treatments at this Woman and Veteran-Owned and operated business, include Botox™, laser hair removal and laser skin tightening. The spa also offers massage therapy, manicures and pedicures. Even more, Mon Cheri specialties are Kybella™ and the Hema-facial™.
“We are very results-oriented and approach client treatment from all different angles through compounding services,” says West. “If you use Botox, we recommend chemical peels, then skin tightening through the laser services.”
All treatments and services are non-evasive with little or no downtime. All Mon Cheri clients receive an anatomy and physiology review before treatment. “Sonia empowers the clients to know what the service will do and what they should expect,” says West.
With its successful marketing efforts and guaranteed results, Mon Cheri is experiencing rapid growth in its clientele base and demand for services. Negron plans to eventually move to a bigger space, but intends to keep the boutique atmosphere.
